Royal Sutton Coldfield Orchestra returns to the Town Hall after last year’s sell-out concert with another evening of much-loved classical music.

Tchaikovsky’s passionate Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture is followed by his dramatic and technically demanding Violin Concerto, performed by the captivating and hugely popular soloist Katy Smith.

The second half features a sparkling selection of orchestral music from the ballet, including favourites from Sylvia and Giselle, before ending with the enchanting Berceuse and Finale from The Firebird.

This is music you’ll know and love, as well as a superb introduction to classical music for newcomers of all ages. And there’s nothing quite like hearing it played live in concert by a full symphony orchestra!
