Formed of the choral and organ scholars of the world-renowned Choir of St John’s College, Cambridge, the Gents of St John’s have enjoyed a busy schedule of concerts and recordings for over forty years. The Gents are noted for their versatility and range of repertoire, performing music spanning over 600 years, from the polyphony of the early renaissance all the way through to close-harmony arrangements of modern-day hits. Whether singing a concert, wedding, workshop, or a private function, the Gents of St John’s have music to match.
OUT OF THE DEEP is a celebration of choral masterpieces from across the centuries, including Tallis, Byrd, Stainer, Biebl, and more.
With a second half of a capella, close-harmony arrangements of classic popular songs, from The Beach Boys to The Beatles.
