Supporting community and culture together: Our partnership with Harvey Norman
Sutton Coldfield Town Hall is excited to announce that Harvey Norman is our main sponsor, ahead of the opening of their Sutton Coldfield store this year. This partnership will focus on fostering the arts and culture in our community and celebrating the regeneration of Sutton Coldfield Town Centre.
The partnership will see Harvey Norman integrated into our upcoming 2026 community events programme, combining brand visibility with community support. This partnership will help our historic venue to continue being the town’s local arts centre too, showcasing local talent and culture. Harvey Norman will be directly involved in the roll-out of our upcoming Jazz Club (watch this space!) as well as our Literary Arts Festival in September 2026. Supporting local arts and community activities are at the core of both the Town Hall’s, and Harvey Norman’s visions.

Claire Bridges, the Chair of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Hall Community Trust says: “The Trust is absolutely delighted with our new partnership with Harvey Norman. Through their sponsorship, we are launching a new annual Community Arts Programme which will feature a Heritage Variety Show in March and a weekend Literary and Arts Festival in September with a range of arts, cultural and heritage events and activities in between. The Trust is fulfilling its mandate, following a public campaign to save the Town Hall building, and is establishing a major Arts Centre for all in the heart of the town.”
Lachlan Roach, Managing Director of Harvey Norman, says: “We are hugely excited to be opening our store in Sutton Coldfield in the coming months. Harvey Norman is more than just a retailer – we aim to be an active and positive force in the communities we serve. Our partnership with Sutton Town Hall allows us to bring cultural experiences to our store while supporting events and initiatives that make a real difference locally. We’re excited to engage with Sutton Coldfield residents in new and meaningful ways.”
Andrew Mitchell, President of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Hall, comments: “We are thrilled to welcome Harvey Norman as our main sponsor. Their support allows us to continue offering vibrant cultural and community programmes for the people of Sutton Coldfield. The idea of bringing live performances into the store is particularly exciting, it gives the community a taste of our events and strengthens the connection between local culture and local businesses.”
