The UN Women’s Unite Campaign “ORANGE THE WORLD”

The Town Hall, in partnership with Soroptimist International of Sutton Coldfield is proud to support this campaign against gender violence.

THE CAMPAIGN
You are invited to “Orange the World’ to support women and girl survivors of violence to stay safe and free of violence. Take action during this year’s 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence.

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

It is used as an organising strategy by individuals and organisations like Soroptimist International of Sutton Coldfield around the world to call for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls!

So say NO to Violence against Women and help turn Sutton Coldfield Orange!

You can do this by dressing yourself, your window or garden in orange. For example at the Town Hall, our model Carmella is dressed in orange in our box office, and our globes are lighting our windows each evening.  Thank you to Helen Waite of the Up Creative Community for her creative support!
